The Master Makers workshop challenges students to apply their STEAM knowledge to solve more complex problems using LEGO® Education Robotics. They will explore advanced concepts such as testing, debugging, and iterative design, preparing them for higher-level thinking and social skills necessary for competitions like the FIRST® LEGO® League. This workshop fosters a pathway from basic learning to mastery.

During this engaging term workshop for older children, your child will:

  • Develop their engineering design skills by defining problems, brainstorming solutions, and testing and refining prototypes.

  • Enhance their team problem-solving abilities and creativity in addressing real-world limitations and constraints.

  • Immerse themselves in helping the main characters Maria, Leo, Sofie, and Daniel

  • Develop their communication skills as they engage in a range of collaborative discussions about their solutions.

Quirky Creations:
Your child will investigate ways of defining problems, brainstorming solutions, and testing and refining prototypes. They'll refine their problem-solving skills as they create a solution to a problem that has constraints, and improve on others’ ideas. All while honing their ability to identify failure points and success criteria when comparing, modifying, and evaluating a solution.

The LEGO® Education system is tailored to the Australian national curriculum. Your child will enjoy learning STEAM topics in a guided play-based environment, including problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and creativity. Our instructors to continually assess each student's learning and development, ensuring a personalised learning journey in future classes.
