Here’s What Our LEGO® Robotics Fun Adventure Looks Like!

Check In

Day 1:

Our friendly and experienced instructors will be ready to welcome you to our robotics adventure! Look out for them in a bright Rocket Academy t-shirt—they’re all qualified instructors with a Working with Children Check. Once you’ve signed in your child, they’ll be ready to make new friends and dive into their LEGO robotics challenge!

Dockland: Drop off between 10:00 and 10:05 am, and pick up between 4:45 and 5:00 pm.

Point Cook/ Truganina: Drop off between 9:00 and 9:05 am, and pick up between 4:45 and 5:00 pm.

Building the Foundation Start your robotics journey with us today! We’ll kick off with engaging ice breakers to get everyone warmed up and ready. After a brief introduction to LEGO Spike Essential kits, students will explore basic robotics concepts like gears, motors, and sensors through fun, narrative-based challenges. Morning tea and lunch breaks will be provided with time for quick stretches to keep everyone energized. Please remember to bring your own nut-free snack and lunch.

Day 2:

Racing and Mastery Today, we’ll take our robotics skills to the next level! Returning students will bypass the intro and dive straight into advanced building techniques and programming. After a quick ice breaker, students will enhance their robots with new features and prepare for an exciting race challenge. They’ll test their creations in a friendly competition, showcasing their skills and teamwork. We’ll have morning tea, lunch, and quick stretch breaks throughout the day. Don’t forget to bring your own nut-free snack and lunch.
